Declaration
Be it known that I, Edmund Keli’i Silva, Jr. King of the
Kingdom of Hawai’i hereby declare that the entire archipelago
and surrounding seas of the archipelago belong to the Kingdom of Hawai’i.
That all peoples throughout the world are served notice that Hawai’i
is an independent sovereign nation ordained and sustained by
the Hand and Might of a Just God in our Heavenly Father.

Subject: Establishing a Righteous Government.
Aloha oukou. I have
scrutinized many contradictory views regarding governments and their application to ‘Principled Leadership.’ Government must
embody civility, with the greatest respect of service not only to its people but also to the very land and seas it occupies.
Unfortunately, nations across the globe are cursed with corruption that permeates every level of power within their governments. This matter can not be resolved without
serious discussion as change is inevitable. The question is: will a righteous government emerge from the sea of immorality?
Remarkably, these studies led me to a greater understanding that governments have relied upon
religious or spiritual beliefs as, the main source of authority in penning their National Constitutions and Declarations of Independence, representing that they are an
enlightened nation divinely sanctioned.
The Holy Bible, Koran, Torah, Book of Mormon, Pearl of
Great Price, Doctrines of Covenant, Apocrypha, Nag Hammadi, I-Ching et cetera, proved the government writers to be
men of God.
In this thesis, I am focusing on aboriginal civilizations and ethnicity. Meaning, before
their were Constitutions, Declarations of Independence, and other enlightened materials, there was a nation of people who already lived in a sophisticated society led by
righteous principles, and who already lived in harmony with nature and nature’s God.
Ancient Hawai’i is such a nation that respected the land and seas.
The people lived in harmony with all life, and their nation was blessed. My ancestors had the
Kumulipo and Keaomelemele to guide them. These sacred writings, much like other inspired
Constitutions and Declarations of Independence in the world, were entrusted to the High Priest – Kahuna Nui
who taught the people about living in complete harmony with their surroundings. Not until Pa’ao
and Western civilization entered the lives of Hawai’i’s civilization did things turn terribly wrong.
Pa’ao’s doctrines and Missionaries teachings stole away the innocence of my people and drove them near extinction—and the lands and sea
were cursed. Before this corruption, we were the Kingdom of God on earth as it is in heaven, and we embodied “We the
people…,” decades before Benjamin Franklin urged unanimity of vote in ratifying that very concept into the fabric of the United State’s core existence.
For the sake of argument, regardless of what kind of government is set up to govern its
people, it must be founded upon enlightened thinking, representing the free will of the people. The age-old adage of ‘hind
sight is better then foresight’ is true and speaks volumes. Learning from our historic past should allow us the graciousness
to not make the same mistakes as our ancestors—yet, still we do. Why? Because,
definition and general consensus upon what is a model Nation or Kingdom government specifically are, is
impossible to obtain because personal view points and opinions vary enormously.
All of this notwithstanding, I have examine and studied Monarchs and their governing practices. Having
done this gives me clarity of mind to know without doubt the reason a Monarchial Government makes sense. Democracy and
Republican ideology does not allow for the poor to receive fair and unbiased treatment in a court of law. Those with corporate
power, athletic skills and money can receive ready justice and most often, they escape their crimes with not more then a slap on the wrist.
For this reason, I have decided to omit all impressions or preconceptions of this and instead focus on the
reign of King David and King Benjamin. Many great books have been written that show
examples of governments, of the many kings and queens and their impact of governance. King David and King Benjamin are
examples whom I shall focus on as, they found favor in God’s eyes, and one whose record of the principles of his rule are
clear and succinct.
In addition, they governed wisely the nation entrusted to them by
Heavenly Father. Recorded principles of their rule have caused me to choose them as models for this opinion.
Regardless of what form a nation is built upon does not matter if the consensus of the people is unanimous.
It boils down to whether or not that government is predestined and blessed by Heavenly Father.
Hence, I have concluded that no government can remain in power without the blessings of
Ke Akua, nor can any man be a King unless he is ordained by God. There
are, of course, tyrannical and oppressive governments that existed and presently exist, but I am speaking here of a government that has the blessings of God behind it,
that has the good of all people in its arms, and that has the lasting power of continual existence because it is divinely sanctioned.
Examples of King Benjamin and Mosiah, illustrated where
a Monarch saw fit to change his nation’s government into a Democracy. For better or worse, doing this provides free agency and choice to the people in a way that
would affect their nation, as, this opened the door to corruption of immense extent, paralleling the War in Heaven where 1/3 of the spirits lobbied against free agency of
choice and in favor of a world government under one Being who guaranteed salvation through absolute dominion over not only everyone’s body and spirits, but their very
souls!
We know that very plan was rejected, and the 1/3 hosts eventually cut off (“oki”)
from Heaven. Ke Akua instead confirmed free agency and choice for each spiritual soul, and a forum to
exercise that divine right: mortality on Earth. King Mosiah formed his government using similar wisdom. Fearing future despotic,
tyrannical rule by an unjust monarch, he changed his entire nation into a Democracy. Consequently, Captain
Moroni and Alma (the Chief Judge “prime minister”) fought many wars throughout their own land to defend Mosiah’s covenants of Liberty
and Freedom.
Equally, I believe, King Mosiah had a larger concern
and purpose. He was compelled to turn over free choice to the nation, giving them control of their own existence. A
world without free agency, choice, or expression is a world without soul; and this violates “Ha,” which is the Eternal Breath by which we are created of
Ke Akua. It violates our “’O’hana”, or family. And if all are from
Ke Akua, how can a family not be Eternal Ha?
Why ancient Hawai’i was touched by Europeans, its indigenous people reduced and
scattered, and its lands despicably colonized escapes my understanding. However, I do know that from Pa’ao’s arrival, the ancient
Hawaiian ways dramatically changed to a pagan ali’i (monarchial) system by which many eternal truths were bastardized and ancient culture
politicized.
This illustrates my thought over the appropriate course of nationhood and
sovereignty. I know the Native Hawaiians were first entitled to the ancient lands of the Americas and the Hawaiian archipelago. Further,
I believe the U.S. government and its lands are our divine inheritance. Those behind the cause of the Jews occupying modern day Israel cannot deny my
mana’o and at the same time remain consistent in their own cause. Make know mistake, the Gentiles such as Washington, Jefferson,
Hamilton, and Adams, Jay, Franklin and their successors in D.C. were charged with proper governance of our inheritance.
“Their predecessors failed to uphold these truths”.
Hawaiian self determination should bring cognizance and changes even to the status
quo if needed so that our lands and laws in the hands of Gentiles remain blessed rather than cursed.
Our Native Hawaiian culture is perhaps the only one on Earth today that has enough
threads of ancient truths to correct the past historical meanderings of Gentiles and bad management of the U.S. Government.
I do not know of any other culture so contained, yet living, yet vibrant with the
possibility of changing a national order. The Hawaiian Islands is perhaps the most strategic location of the U.S. and a coveted land in the world today.
Though tiny, our Native Hawaiian presence is yet significant in these islands and cannot be ignored by any government as are, the First Nations known as American Indians
across the U.S. Native Hawaiians have the heart of the entire world known for peace, aloha and inclusiveness.
Inscribe the importance of lineage in your hearts.
Lineage is more important than
life and more important than love. Life and love come together to create o’hana. Heredity cannot be established if either life or love is
missing. Therefore, among the three qualities that define the parent child relationship, love, life and genealogy, ancestry is the fruit. God’s lineage contains the seed
of true love.
Heavenly Fathers lineage provides the context and environment for
a true life. Hence, for us to become the ideal people envisioned by God, that is, people of ideal character, and to create ideal families, we first need to be linked to
His lineage. To take it a step further, only when we are linked to God’s lineage is it possible to create God’s homeland, the ideal nation. Only when we are linked to
God’s lineage is it possible to establish the kingdom of Hawai’i,
Without lineage, neither life nor love can endure. You strive to
set a good tradition, but it will endure only through your lineage. Lineage is the link allowing our ancestors’ spirit to carry on through subsequent generations.
In other words, lineage is the first and final condition necessary for parents to harvest the
fruits of their love, the fruits of their life and the fruits of their joy. We need to know this with conviction.
When Adam and Eve fell, this
lineage, more precious than life, was lost. The fruits of true life and true love never matured. They became the fruits of Satan, lacking any relationship with Heaven.
From them descended the six billion people now covering the earth.
The ideal of God’s creation was to raise Adam and Eve, His son and daughter, to the point
where they would blossom in true love, flourish with true life, and bear fruit in a true lineage. God desired to harvest owners and families of eternal life, eternal love
and eternal lineage, and to harvest His kingdom of the peaceful, ideal world as their homeland.
False Lineage:
False love, false life and false lineage infested the earth. God’s love, life and lineage
fell into the hands of the adulterer Satan, the enemy of love. Heaven and earth were suffocated and transformed into hell.
People are deluded into believing that the lineage of the enemy is
the lifeline upon which the world depends. This is the dejected truth about humanities descended from the fall. That is why we refer to this world as hell on earth.
Because of the fall, all this came under Satan’s control. God is
like our father who worked and sweated his entire life to accumulate assets for his children, only to have a thief steal everything in one night.
Who can grasp the sorrowful, painful heart of God? God lost His
Direct Lineage in Adam and Eve and, was forced to hand over the ownership of the nations and world to Satan. There was only one way to recover this lineage and ownership.
This was the path to win the natural subjugation of Satan, to have Satan surrender voluntarily. Absolute forgiveness, it is
only by the power of true love, when we love our enemies more than we love our own children we gain our divine inherit age to Heavenly Father.
The biblical account of Cain and Abel reveals the beginnings of
human conflict right in Adam’s family. It provides the archetype for humankind’s unending history of struggle, war and conflict. We are conflicted on many levels,
beginning with the war between body and mind within each individual and extending to wars between nations and even to the global conflict between materialism and theism.
By direct genealogy, I represent Hawaii’s highest and most divine governing royal lineage. I am the direct
bloodline of Kealohilani, Mauiloa, Pi’ilani which is known through the blue-blood
Mo’i, Kamehameha-nui ‘Ai Lu’au.
And so, my direct lineage is from the early voyages from the American continents, the very land of our forefathers.
My genealogy reveals the kuleana and factual history of my family even including the American continents.
My ancestor’s blood flows throughout my veins in which I am instructed through
my family’s traditional cultural record that, the lands of our birthright are divine, having an irrevocable covenant under our indigenous blood that applies to all
inhabitants notwithstanding origin. The covenant of the lands of our inheritance requires that its populace have personal freedom to exercise individual choice and
agency of soul. Necessarily concomitant of course is the requisite degree of political freedom.
A Righteous Monarch.
Under a righteous monarchy, such political freedom exists. That would also be the case under a properly
managed democracy, capitalist society, socialist society, parliament, or oligarchy. The lands of our Native Hawaiian ancestral inheritance are the Hawaiian
archipelago and all the Americas.
However, any of these governing systems, when mismanaged by its leaders, will
eradicate or stifle individual freedom and liberty to the extent that the covenant of our lands will be violated. When this “Ha” is violated, our lands will curse
that government, and the population will suffer. It is meaningless to “split hairs” in theorizing just when this covenant might be violated and the population’s
“Ha” despoiled. It’s enough to understand that knowledge and the lessons set forth within our genealogy.
Today’s national rhetoric fails to enlighten minds. Passionate dispute over
the matter of separation of church and state has attached to the Constitution in courts across the U.S., dividing communities and promoting anarchy. In reality,
many incorrectly see this as a matter of separation of “religion and state” rather than church and state. These polemicists don’t distinguish “religion” from
church. Church is man-made and man-managed temporal organization that is referenced as “God made and managed” only because God is the purpose and Creator of all
things. Of course, then, a church for God is also “of” God and “directed by” God. Nevertheless, a church remains an earthly organization, i.e. a political
organization of a specific purpose.
Our ancestors never intended to separate our soul’s beliefs and practices
(“religion”), or God, from the State. They intended to separate the political competition, or Church, from the State. Unfortunately, today, God is attached to
“church” in the issue of separation of church and state, causing persecutions of religions, suppression of soul and expression, and defamation of our Creator.
The ambiguities in defining National Security interests allow small handfuls of
powerful politicians to control the daily lives of our population. A government must be centralized enough to maintain order and security.
But the risk of centralization is obvious:
unrighteous leadership violating the covenant of our lands whether we like it or not.
My family’s genealogy is a cultural record to the beginning of mankind, and its
chain of custody is stated through an unbroken line of ancestors until today. It proceeded from the first human through the periods of Priesthood rule, monarchial
rule, parliamentary rule, and finally, democratic rule. Our record cannot be ignored or sufficiently disputed, as ours is an untouched ancient record directly akin
to the exact kind of direct evidence already recognized by the Supreme Court of Hawaii in published landmark cases.
Our Native Hawaiian traditional cultural governance contains the principles of
government congruent to the divine covenant of these lands. Our Hawaiian culture is hardly dwindling, but instead growing in population and vibrancy. So,
correct leadership with the knowledge and wisdom of the ages must be available to today’s generation. This principle of liberty and freedom of the soul must be
properly translated into today’s choices of modern government for our Native Hawaiian people; not only for individuals, but for the well-being of entire governments and
populations occupying the lands of our blood-covenant inheritance.
"How blessed is the man who finds wisdom, and the man who gains understanding. For its profit is better than the profit of silver, and its gain than fine
gold. She is more precious than jewels; and nothing compares to her. Long life is in her right hand . . . She [wisdom and understanding] is the tree of life to those who
take hold of her." (Proverbs 3:13-18)
Government is a human creation, inasmuch as the constituted civil authorities are left to the
exercise of a wise discretion in the enactment and rescinding of laws, as demanded by emergent circumstances. For example, in regulating commerce, the currency, taxation,
and, to some extent, even what relates to education and police, states are left free to choose that plan which the times and the existing state of things render
advisable.
I am confident if our fore-fathers could speak from the grave, they would tell us to stand tall in defiance to the tyranny of government. To realize the problems facing the nation are the same problems they faced.
They would tell us they pleaded with the King and sought remedies to stop the tyranny in the land and when all was said and done, there was no other alternative but, to raise arms against the King, solely on the authority of their own consciences. They would tell us, we must overcome our fears and defend our rights from infringement by the government or, their blood would have been shed in vain. They would tell us they too feared the British King and his army but, freedom and liberty for the nation was worth fighting for.
They would ask us to read and understand the Declaration of Independence, Constitution and Bill of Rights that they fought and died for. They
would tell us to study the Holy Scriptures and seek the guidance of truth. They would ask us to seek the cause and find the cure of the problems that plaques our land.
They would pray we return to a nation under GOD and reclaim the rights granted to us by our CREATOR. They would tell us they would fight once again, if only they could.
They would tell us their prayers are with us but, the fight is ours and ours alone, and not to wait for intervention from GOD. If we listened very closely we could hear
the sadness and tears in their voice, for their nation has gone to sleep.
"The Declaration of Independence they fought and died for makes the
rights and duties of the Sovereign clear, ". . . But when a long train of abuses and usurpation pursuing invariably the same objective evinces a design to reduce them
under absolute despotism it is their right, it is their duty to throw off such government; And, to provide new guards for their security."
If we expect to remain free from tyranny and oppression, our rights cannot be negotiable and our minds cannot allow their propaganda to
continue to deceive us. We are a nation under GOD with unalienable rights granted to us by our CREATOR. Our rights do NOT come from government. We the People are the
Master, government is our servant. But, like it or not, this is the kind of government (master) you have. And for those of you who will say, "It's still the best
government in the world." I say this to you, "DOES THAT MAKE IT RIGHT?" If so, you have the kind of government you deserve. You are our own worst enemies, or in the words
of Pogo, "I have met the enemy and it is us!"
Political leaders no longer seek to surround themselves with social justification. They seek only to gain social control by destroying your freedoms and increasing their wealth at the cost of the mass. As we slept, they have created a society that has become increasingly ignorant about their own rights, duties, and freedoms. Government of the People, For the People, and By the People, means it serves those that can pay for it.
Judge Learned Hand summed up the principal of liberty: "I often wonder whether we do not rest our hopes too
much upon the Constitution, upon laws and courts. These are false hopes, believe me, these are false hopes.
Liberty lies in the hearts of men and women; when it dies there, no Constitution, no law,
no court can even do much to help it. While it lies there it needs no Constitution, no law, no court can save it."
We must acknowledge that if we do nothing, if we are not willing to act now and act boldly, without fear but with faith and a firm resolve,
our freedom to act at all may soon be taken away altogether. New bills, new laws are being presented everyday which will effectively serve to tighten the chains of
bondage that are already around our necks. Go visit your local law library and look at the thousands of volumes of laws that govern your every day life. And then ask
yourself this simple question, "How can I be free with all of these?"
Government is control and if our leaders truly represent us, the laws they make should and must reflect our general attitudes toward
agriculture, trade, industry, transportation, education, science, peace and prosperity.
They embody our conception of basic human rights, privileges and duties, our ideas regarding religion, education, personal freedom and
security, the protection of youth and age, and a place in society for the physical and mentally afflicted. In short, the estimates and determination of everything which
will make our own day and the forecast of our children's day is in the hands of a few. Nobody will deny that all these estimates and
determinations need persistent scrutiny and revision - that the law should constantly be criticized.
Government must reflect a conception of individuals and express the mutual rights and duties of individuals. Instead, our world political
powers no longer seek to surround themselves with social justification. They seek only to gain social control through destruction of our rights and increasing their
wealth, at the cost of the mass. While at the same time creating a society that has become increasingly ignorant about their rights and duties.
Although it has been difficult for the mass to learn the truth about the adversary, since they control our society and instead of creating a system of self-governing citizens, they have created our reliance on them. What they have given us is falsehood. A working definition of government could best be defined as: Public control by a few presumably for the benefit of the many while perpetrating a false consciousness of the mass. While a closer truth that all Constitutions could be defined as: The economic exploitation by the ruling class protected by the state, while constitutionalism with its fictions of Civic equality and legality is designed to appease the mass.
